# eToro Proofreading Rubric

## Strict Constraints

1. **No Content Additions** - Don't add, remove, or change facts, counts, or specific information
2. **Preserve Original Intent** - Edit for grammar, punctuation, syntax only; don't rewrite meaning
3. **No Upselling** - Provide only proofread version + change log. Don't offer additional assets

## British English Rules

### Spelling
- Use British spelling: organise, optimise, colour, favour, analyse
- Double consonants for verbs: pedalling, travelling, modelling, labelling, cancelled
- -ce/-se distinction:
  - **Nouns**: practice, licence
  - **Verbs**: practise, license

### Oxford Comma
**DO NOT use** the Oxford comma.
- ✅ red, white and blue
- ❌ red, white, and blue

Exception: Use only when required for absolute clarity.
