# Daily Log - March 10, 2026

## Morning Heartbeat — 07:45 UTC
- Auto-compact: System healthy, no sessions over threshold
- Subagents: None active
- Email: No new mail
- Task board posted to #open-tasks

## Brandwatch — Major Work Session (07:47–10:17 UTC)
**Participants:** Assaf + Lukas in #brandwatch-2 thread

### Decisions
- **Deck work ON HOLD** — Assaf wants to finish landing page first, then deck
- **Audience correction:** Page must pitch TO Brandwatch leadership, not OF Brandwatch to end-users
- **"AI-native" jargon killed** — replaced with clear outcome language throughout
- **"14 days" → "days, not months"** — flexible speed framing, don't box in
- **Process before Team** — show how it works, then who does it
- **Case study format for work samples:** Ask → Approach → Outcome (Lukas's idea)
- **Assaf rule:** If he tags someone directly, Kitt does NOT respond

### Website Changes Pushed Live
1. Work/references moved to second-to-last ("This is what it could look like")
2. Full copy review — killed jargon, fixed timeline language
3. Swapped Process before Team
4. Added "What You Get" deliverables section
5. Merged Solution + Process into one section
6. GSAP scroll animations added (disabled on mobile after breaking)
7. Added "How We Complete Each Other" section (two-column: BW delivers / CE delivers)
8. Multiple merges to reduce redundancy — conciseness pass in progress

### New Assets Created

- **Copy revisions for deck:** `work/pitches/brandwatch/brandwatch-v3/copy-revisions.md`

### Lukas Tasks (only he can do)
1. Lock down his role with Assaf (advisor? joining? compensation?)
2. Brandwatch org intel — who makes partnership decisions now
3. Cision's strategic priorities — what's their AI story internally
4. Warm intro strategy — who specifically to reach out to
5. Exclusivity position — discuss with Assaf
6. Identify a pilot client from his Brandwatch contacts

### Active Subagents
- `brandwatch-conciseness-pass` — full page redundancy cleanup, in progress

### Key Insight from Research
Every successful startup-to-enterprise deal started with PROOF, not a deck. Instagram had 30M users. Figma owned the workflow. CE needs its version of that — the Dove POC is a start.

## Brandwatch — Evening Work Session with Lukas (20:00–20:10 UTC)

### Critical Copy Revisions Pushed (7 commits)
1. **Internal teams angle** — added to Engine: "No agency needed. Their internal team handles everything from strategy to assets." (commit `35f002b`)
2. **Full BW business value review** — every section now circles back to what Brandwatch gets: retention, ARPU, platform adoption, renewals (commit `c547825`)
3. **Made everything concrete** — deliverables expanded with real examples, specific outputs, BW data types referenced, Dove POC detailed with actual metrics (commit `15137f2`)
4. **Tied every deliverable to BW outcome** — red "→ For Brandwatch..." lines: Strategy Brief → stops ROI questions, Assets → drives Publish usage, Localization → more seats/ARPU, Playbook → closes loop to Measure (commit `4726c6b`)
5. **"Do I need Brandwatch?" FAQ** — "Yes. Every CE client is also a Brandwatch client." (commit `74e3554`)
6. **Fixed QC messaging** — Assaf can't review 100s of briefs. CE builds the engine, clients own their output. Multi-stage QC built into system. (commit `79e9f05`)
7. **"Why partner?" FAQ** — "Without partnership, BW doesn't capture the value. With it: revenue share, premium upsell, retention tool." (commit `571d0fe`)

### Key Framing Shifts
- **Product, not service**: CE is a tool clients access, Assaf builds the engine, doesn't personally review output
- **Internal teams > agencies**: Most BW clients don't have agency budgets — CE makes their internal teams faster
- **Every benefit → BW business outcome**: No section left abstract; everything ties to churn/retention/ARPU/revenue
- **BW ecosystem lock-in**: "Every hour in CE is an hour in Brandwatch" — generic AI tools pull clients away, CE keeps them inside

### Lukas Direction
- Review whole page for BW business value alignment ✓
- Add internal teams angle (not just agencies) ✓
- Nothing left to imagination — be specific everywhere ✓
- Bring back "Do I need BW?" and "Why partner?" FAQs ✓
- Fix QC: we build the engine, clients own output ✓

## Brandwatch v2 — Design Session with Assaf (evening, ~22:00 UTC)

### Full Page Restyle to Match Grid Page
- Restyled entire `public/brandwatch-v2/index.html` to match `staging.curiousendeavor.com/grid/` design language
- Hero: centered, `clamp(42px, 6vw, 84px)` Larken, no CTAs
- Removed burger nav → replaced with sticky phase nav (The Gap, Operators, Deliverables, Engine, Work, Business Case, FAQ, Contact)
- Logo nav: 64px → 44px on scroll; phase nav fixed at 44px
- Opportunity section: "From insight to output." copy (Option B), grid layout with BW image right at 16:9, light box-shadow approved
- Latest commit: `47a74fa` + shadow fix

### Pipeline Gap Interaction — Designed
- Assaf wants the bridge/pipeline section redesigned: boring static 3-column → scroll-triggered "gap filling" interaction
- Concept: BW Data (left) + empty gap (middle) + BW Publish (right) → CE card slides in on scroll → connecting lines animate
- **Inertia Studios (weareinertia.com)** shared by Assaf as effect/interaction reference — GSAP ScrollTrigger pinned sections, smooth weighted motion
- Jessica produced full spec: `work/active-projects/brandwatch/pipeline-gap-interaction-spec.md`
  - Empty gap: dashed 1px #eee border, "The missing middle" label, JetBrains Mono 11px uppercase
  - CE card: slides up 40px + opacity fade, 200ms, cubic-bezier(0.25, 0.46, 0.45, 0.94), red 2px top border
  - Connectors: dormant #eee → active #cc0000 with 100ms stagger
  - Total sequence ~750ms, one-shot, IntersectionObserver (no GSAP)
  - Mobile: vertical stack, smaller translateY
- **Next:** Brief Thibault to implement from Jessica's spec

### Key Decisions
- Creative pipeline enforced: Kitt delegates through Gerri → team → Anton → present
- Hero centered (not split) — Assaf rejected left-text/right-image hero
- Box-shadow exception approved for opportunity image only
- Grid page uses 1400px max-width vs styleguide 1100px — discrepancy noted, not resolved

## Reminders
- **15:00 Lisbon (14:00 UTC):** Ping Assaf to work on Brandwatch landing page — his design/content pass

## Afternoon — eToro Discord Bot Setup (14:49–16:08 UTC)
**Triggered by:** Assaf wanting bots to respond on the eToro Discord server

### Timeline
- Assaf requested Kitt invite link → provided
- Assaf requested BrandClaw invite link → provided (client ID: 1480943387992396009)
- BrandClaw wasn't responding — diagnosed as `requireMention` needed guild-level config (matched Kittoro's pattern)
- Fixed config: `groupPolicy: "allowlist"` + `guilds.1480708183331963033.requireMention: false`
- Still not responding — discovered bot needed MESSAGE CONTENT INTENT enabled in Discord Developer Portal
- BrandClaw started crash-looping: "Failed to resolve Discord application id" — likely token reset during portal changes
- Assaf created new bot "unagi" (client ID: 1480954721983529032) — also stuck in restart loop (same intent issue)
- Assaf disabled BrandClaw (removed token)
- Fixed corrupted JSON in openclaw.json (trailing comma in unagi config)

### Final State (end of day)
- **BrandClaw:** disabled, token removed
- **Unagi:** enabled but stuck (needs MESSAGE CONTENT INTENT in Discord Developer Portal)
- **Kittoro:** working on eToro server
- **Kitt:** not added to eToro server yet

### Config Changes Made
- BrandClaw model → anthropic/claude-opus-4-6
- BrandClaw groupPolicy → allowlist with eToro guild requireMention: false
- Fixed JSON syntax error in openclaw.json

## Nightly Summary — 23:14 UTC
- Systems healthy, no bloated sessions
- No new email
- No active subagents
- Quiet hours — no proactive posting

## eToro Discord Bots — Configuration Session (15:14–16:45 UTC)
**Triggered by:** Assaf wanting bots to respond on eToro server

### What happened:
- Assaf asked for Kitt + BrandClaw invite links for eToro Discord server
- BrandClaw (new bot, ID: 1480943387992396009) created and configured
- Set to Opus 4.6 model, requireMention: false on eToro guild
- **Problem:** BrandClaw wouldn't respond — multiple issues found:
  1. requireMention needed guild-level config (not account-level)
  2. Bot kept getting "stuck" — health monitor restarting it
  3. Bot token got 403 on REST API — likely missing Discord Developer Portal intents
  4. Eventually crashed with "Failed to resolve Discord application id" after Assaf edited Developer Portal settings
- **Config corruption:** Assaf added new "unagi" bot, left trailing comma in JSON — fixed
- **Final state:** BrandClaw disabled (token removed), Unagi (ID: 1480954721983529032) created but also stuck
- **Root cause:** MESSAGE CONTENT INTENT not enabled in Discord Developer Portal for new bot applications
- **Pending:** Assaf needs to enable intents in Developer Portal, then bots need config finalization

### Key learning:
New Discord bots need privileged intents (MESSAGE CONTENT, SERVER MEMBERS) enabled in Developer Portal before they'll process messages. OpenClaw will log in and resolve guilds but silently fail to receive message events.
