# Spoken Institute — Handover Brief

## What This Is

A teacher recruitment campaign for the **Spoken Institute** (Daniel & Agnė Kremer). The institute is building a new model of education in Israel — teacher as researcher, mentor, and polymath. The campaign recruits that kind of teacher.

**Campaign name:** A Day in the Life of an R&D Teacher
**Tagline:** "The days of the bureaucratic teacher are over."
**Recruitment message:** "You're already this person. We built a place that deserves you."

## The Core Creative Concept

**One teacher. Full body. Center frame. Every scene.**

Five scenes across a single day. The teacher stands in the center of each frame. The world — the setting, the people, the light — changes around him. He does not change. He is the fixed point. This is not just a design choice: it *is* the thesis. The teacher is the constant. Everything else is variable.

The five scenes are:
1. **The List** — back to camera, facing a chalkboard covered in topics
2. **The Physicist** — morning, teaching a lively debate-style class
3. **The Mentor** — midday, one-on-one with a young woman
4. **The Connector** — afternoon, peer research meeting, open to the landscape
5. **The Student** — evening, alone on a rooftop, still reading

## The Character (LOCKED — never changes)

- Mid-30s male. Slim. Light brown wavy hair, falls across forehead.
- **Dark neat beard — always present, non-negotiable.**
- White linen shirt, untucked, top button open, sleeves rolled to forearm.
- Light beige chinos. Simple leather sandals or shoes.
- Energy: still, calm, intellectually present. The eye of the storm.

## The Illustration Style (APPROVED)

**Rough painted editorial.** Loose ink sketch with watercolor/gouache wash. Gestural and expressive — you can see the hand. Fast-looking. Confident marks.

**Palette:** Black ink + warm off-white paper ground + single amber/ochre warm wash for light. Max 3 tones. No full color.

**Architecture:** Contemporary Israeli educational institution. Architecturally ambitious — soaring double-height concrete, geometric skylights with diagonal light shafts, floor-to-ceiling glass, bold structural geometry. Think Weizmann Institute meets Tadao Ando. NOT stone walls, NOT arched windows, NOT ancient Israel.
