# Spoken Institute — Teacher Recruitment Video Script
## "יום בחיי מורה מו"פ" (A Day in the Life of an R&D Teacher)

**Duration:** 60–90 seconds
**Format:** Animated illustrations (matching deck style) with Hebrew text overlays
**Visual Style:** Hand-drawn digital illustration, teal-cyan + warm peach palette, European graphic novel aesthetic, cinematic lighting (see style guide)
**Music:** Warm, contemplative ambient — acoustic piano + subtle electronic textures

---

## COLD OPEN (0:00–0:08)

**Visual:** White screen with subtle dot-grid texture. The diamond motif (◇) appears, glints.

**Text fades in (bold blue Hebrew, right-aligned):**
> טורבולנטיות. טיפול פסיכודינמי. אי-לוקליות קוונטית.

**Beat.**

> משוואות מקסוול. מדיטציה. גיאומטריה רימנית.

*The list scrolls gently — each term appearing one by one, building rhythm. Not all 20. Just enough to feel the range.*

**Text dissolves.**

---

## SCENE 1 — THE RESEARCHER (0:08–0:22)

**Visual:** Wide establishing shot. A warm, teal-lit classroom. Morning light streams through windows (peach glow). Our teacher — red-haired, glasses, beard (the recurring character from the deck) — stands at a whiteboard dense with equations. Students are arranged in a circle, not rows. Someone is mid-argument.

**Camera:** Slow push-in from wide to medium.

**Text overlay (white, lower-third):**
> בבוקר, את חוקרת.

*(In the morning, you research.)*

**Detail:** The whiteboard shows both Maxwell's equations AND a philosophical quote. The subjects aren't separated here.

---

## SCENE 2 — THE MENTOR (0:22–0:36)

**Visual:** Intimate shot. Same teacher, now sitting across from a single student in a small, warmly-lit room. Books on shelves. Afternoon light (deeper peach-amber). The posture is leaning in — not lecturing, listening. The student's hands are moving — explaining something.

**Camera:** Static, intimate framing. Slight parallax between foreground coffee cup and background bookshelves.

**Text overlay:**
> בצהריים, את משנה חיים.

*(At noon, you change lives.)*

---

## SCENE 3 — THE CONNECTOR (0:36–0:50)

**Visual:** A seminar room. Evening blue-teal lighting. Six people around a table — teacher and five others of varying ages. On the table: a physics textbook open next to a volume of Plato. On a screen behind them: a phase transition diagram. Someone is drawing a connection between the two on a shared whiteboard.

**Camera:** Elevated angle, slow drift. Shows the connections being made physically — hands drawing lines between ideas.

**Text overlay:**
> אחרי הצהריים, את מחברת עולמות.

*(In the afternoon, you connect worlds.)*

---

## SCENE 4 — THE SCHOLAR (0:50–1:02)

**Visual:** Night. The teacher alone in a study. Warm lamp light (amber-peach pool) against deep teal-purple shadows. Books everywhere. A notebook open. The diamond motif (◇) glows faintly on the desk — a small symbolic touch.

**Camera:** Close-up on hands writing, then slow pull-back to reveal the full room. Quiet. Peaceful.

**Text overlay:**
> ובלילה, את עדיין לומדת.

*(And at night, you're still learning.)*

---

## THE TURN (1:02–1:12)

**Visual:** The four scenes appear simultaneously — split into quadrants, then the white connecting line from the deck's dashboard motif draws itself across all four, linking them.

**Text (large, center, bold blue on white):**
> יש לך מה להגיד על שמונה דברים
> ואת רוצה ללמוד להגיד על עוד שמונה?

*(You have something to say about eight things — and want to learn to say eight more?)*

**Beat. The quadrants dissolve into white.**

---

## THE CLOSE (1:12–1:20)

**Visual:** Clean white with dot-grid. Logo badge appears (Spoken Institute, blue rectangle).

**Text:**
> הימים של המורה הבירוקרטי נגמרו.
> המכון מחכה לך.

*(The days of the bureaucratic teacher are over. The Institute is waiting for you.)*

**CTA (smaller text below):**
> spoken.institute/teach

**The diamond motif (◇) glints one final time. Fade to white.**

## PRODUCTION NOTES

### Visual Execution
- All scenes are **original illustrations** in the exact deck style (hand-drawn digital, teal-peach palette, European graphic novel aesthetic)
- Animation is **subtle**: parallax layers, gentle camera moves, floating particles, soft lighting shifts
- NOT live action. NOT stock. NOT 3D. The hand-drawn warmth IS the brand.

### Text Treatment
- All Hebrew, right-aligned
- Bold geometric sans-serif (matching deck typography)
- Blue (#3A2FFF) on white backgrounds, white on dark scenes
- Text animates: fade-in from right, hold, fade-out

### The List (Alternative Cut — 30-sec Social Version)
For a shorter social cut, use ONLY the cold open + the turn:
- 0:00–0:12: The scrolling list of topics (more of them, faster rhythm)
- 0:12–0:25: The quadrant montage (faster cuts)
- 0:25–0:30: Logo + CTA

### Production Path Options

**Option A — AI-Generated Stills + Animation (fast, €0-200)**
1. Generate each scene as a still illustration using Imagen 4 Ultra with detailed style prompts
2. Animate with parallax/camera moves in After Effects or Runway
3. Add typography and transitions
4. Timeline: 1-2 weeks

**Option B — Veo Video Generation (requires Vertex AI, ~€50-100)**
1. Enable Vertex AI on Google Cloud
2. Generate video clips per scene with Veo 2
3. May not perfectly match illustration style — better for photorealistic
4. Timeline: 3-5 days if access is set up

**Option C — Commissioned Illustrator + Animation (highest quality, €2,000-5,000)**
1. Commission the same illustrator who did the deck (or match style)
2. Deliver layered illustrations → animate in After Effects
3. Most faithful to the brand, highest production value
4. Timeline: 3-4 weeks

### Recommended: Option A first (prove the concept), upgrade to C for final production.
