# #radar Channel Summary — Curious Endeavor

## Overview
The #radar channel serves as CE's **taste/trend scouting nerve center**. It's where Julia's daily design trend scans are posted, curated by Assaf via emoji reactions, and funneled into the public taste board at curiousendeavor.com/taste/. The channel also hosts workspace reorganization work and system automation improvements.

## Key Decisions & Outcomes

**Channel Infrastructure:**
- ✅ Reorganized 23 channels into 6 categories (HQ, Active Work, CE, Projects, Workspace, Archive)
- ✅ Fixed message routing issue in #management (was a gateway session problem, now resolved)
- ✅ Trimmed LEARNINGS.md from 174 → 40 lines; HEARTBEAT already lean at 53 lines

**Julia's Trend Radar System (now live):**
- ✅ Rewired Julia's cron to post to #radar (was posting to #improvement)
- ✅ Increased timeout from 120s → 300s to prevent timeouts
- ✅ Julia now posts individual signals (one message per find) instead of dumps
- ✅ Implemented reaction-based curation: 👍 on a signal adds it to the Notion Inspiration Library and taste board
- ✅ Fixed Julia's scraper issues and prompt to avoid filler posts ("quiet day")

**Pipeline Established:**
Julia scans → Posts to #radar → You react 👍 → Auto-adds to Notion + curiousendeavor.com/taste/

## Active/Open Items

- **Weekly synthesis cron:** Not yet built. Should run Mondays to review week's signals and identify patterns.
- **Auto-project relevance:** Need to connect signals to active projects (eToro, Spoken, etc.) automatically.
- **Approval workflow refinement:** Currently relies on Assaf's manual reactions; may need additional governance as volume grows.
